Kellie martin is an American film, television and stage actress. Her most famous parts include Christy Huddleston (Christy) on the drama of the same name Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". In addition, she is famous for playing the lead role in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin is the daughter of a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her career in acting when she was seven, when her aunt who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin get a part in the 1981's series "Father Murphy". In the years following after her Yale University graduation, she began to concentrate on acting and was able to secure significant roles on both cinema and television. Martin, in addition to being an accomplished actress and dancer, is also an accomplished ballet photographer. Since she is a mother of two children, she has become the National spokesperson for Lupus. She has also actively promoted Lupus since the time her younger sister passed away in the age of 19.
